Maraflex is the elastic sewing thread for household sewing machines. It creates elastic seams using straight stitches easily – without an overlock sewing machine. Made from 100% polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), this thread boasts up to 80% seam stretch, ideal for light to medium-weight knitwear and woven fabrics with elastane.

Recommended needle types are Jersey, Stretch, and Super Stretch, in sizes NM 70-80. Sew with minimal tension to achieve optimal elasticity, at a rate of 4 stitches per cm. Perfect for crafting round necklines, tight seams, and cuffs in hoodies, joggers, and children's wear. Produced using Micro Core Technology® in Germany, Maraflex ensures high-quality, durable, and elastic seams. Available in 150m spools
